OMG!! IT’S WEEK 20!!!!!! YAY!!!!
Hitting a milestone this week. I got to erase the ‘1’ off my chalk board and put a ‘2’! Exciting week for sure…. it’s getting closer and closer to the day we get to meet our five princesses.
We had a great weekend back home in Louisiana. We were showered with lots of love for the Quints…even had to take a U-haul back home, lol 🙂 It was great getting to see everyone but I sure was exhausted…I had to “get dressed” 3 days in a row…lol. Also had some maternity pictures taken by Heather (HF Photography), which I will share once I receive them. And I decided to chop my hair off..thanks to my ‘ol Gentry sis…she did just what I wanted. Em has had ‘hair cutting talent’ since we were like 12 yrs old..no joke! Super talented!!♥ It’s been 4 years since I have had short hair, kinda strange but it feels great!
Today I wanted nothing more than to just lay on the couch ALL DAY and do nothing but rest….and that is pretty much what I have done ALL DAY! Usually I think this is boring, but today…it was anything but boring. As I lay…relaxing… I can say these five little babies decided they didn’t want to ‘relax’ with me all day. They have been having a dance party ALL day in my belly. I even tried to video my stomach a few times to capture it….but go figure, every time the camera turned on record….it is like they already ‘knew’ … “mom is trying to video us, we must stop”…hmmmm just like Blayke, lol. One day little ones, one day… I’ll get you all on video making my belly pop all around. Later in the afternoon I even got a visit from my friend Katy, love getting to see her…and she brought us dinner! Love this girl!!! Now I don’t have to think about cooking dinner tonight 🙂 Thanks Katy ♥.
Oh! and we heard about Adam’s blood results yesterday. The results basically told us what we figured. Adam is Kell Positive which now means each baby has a 50/50 chance of having his blood and possibly becoming extremely anemic. This could be not a big deal or something really scary. We could be faced with just a baby having bad jaundice to a baby being so anemic, it won’t survive. This news isn’t too shocking to us but of course we leave this in God’s hands. We can not do anything to change God’s paths for our babies….we will just PRAY they all are ok and don’t suffer through any of this blood issue. He knows the path for our sweet little babies and we must go to Him for hard times & things we do not understand. For I have no ‘fear’ through this journey because my trust is in Him.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Something cool to note that we learned over the last few days…
We were told, and then did some research, that we will be the FIRST set of ALL GIRL Quintuplets in the US. How cool is that!!! I am still kind of skeptical to thinking we are..but we are about 99% sure. Guinness Book of World Records…HI!!! (lol)
Lets roll through this week…and bring on another one!
xoxo
