Today sure has been an emotional day. We have been receiving an abundant amount of love and support from so many people, which we are so grateful for, but today I WAS BLOWN AWAY. This morning I decided to post a simple question on our neighborhood Facebook page. This is what I posted: Does anyone have baby equipment they wish to get rid of ?? Looking for anything we can have as a hand me down / discount price since we are bringing Quints into the neighborhood. TIA
I never imagined I would receive 70+ comments with neighbors wanting to donate anything any everything. I never imagined the additional list of ladies who want to help out when babies arrive. I never imagined someone wanting to provide us with a rocker / glider that we were going to need to purchase but really could not swing the $400 + purchase into our budget. I never imagined we would receive 5 items of each of the needed equipment ie. car seats, cribs, pack n plays, swings, etc. And lastly, I never imagined someone, I have yet to meet, would want to graciously organize a neighborhood shower for us.
I can not tell you how many times today I have cried (like now, lol) with tears of …. joy…thankfulness…love. But above all, I give all this amazing love straight to my God. I know it is because of Him…each and every one of you are giving from your hearts. I praise Him for what He has done, what He is doing, and what He will continue to do for me & through me and for you & through you.
